Aggressive Futures DCA for high-frequency cycles
DRAFT — copy pending founder approval. Boost is Futures DCA with different defaults: fewer safety orders, tighter step, higher leverage, larger size multiplier. Suits short cycles in active markets — NOT a second DCA with a bigger button.
DRAFT. Boost is Futures DCA with shifted defaults: 3 SOs (vs 5), 0.5% step (vs 1.5%), size multiplier 2.0 (vs 1.5), TP 0.6% (vs 1.0%), leverage 20x (vs 5x), stop-loss still off. All parameters remain editable — Boost is a preset on the same engine, not a separate bot.
What Boost changes
DRAFT. Boost keeps Futures DCA logic intact but moves the risk/reward curve toward frequent, short cycles. More trades, faster move through the grid, larger final SO. A cycle lives minutes-to-hours, not days.
DRAFT. Because leverage runs up to 20x and there is no stop-loss, the Boost validator strictly enforces `max_safety_orders ≤ 5` and verifies parameters never exceed the liquidation ceiling. The UI shows an orange banner: 'aggressive defaults, high leverage, no SL'. This is a safety net, not marketing.
Inside Boost
Leverage up to 20x
DRAFT. Default 20x, user can cap lower. On HL perps that means 1% adverse move = 20% of position equity. Without SL this only makes sense if you trust the range and have already watched a cycle in paper mode.
3 safety orders, 0.5% step
DRAFT. Fewer SOs + tighter step = you close fast or hit the cap fast. Boost does NOT keep adding if the market keeps moving against you — that is a deliberate design.
Size multiplier 2.0
DRAFT. Each next SO is 2x larger than the previous one. The point is to move break-even fast toward current price and close TP quickly. Same lever as Spot/Futures DCA, where 2.0 is the upper invariant.
TP 0.6% from break-even
DRAFT. Fast TP for rapid capital rotation. Measured from full-position break-even, not the first entry — same arithmetic as DCA.
No stop-loss by default
DRAFT. Toggleable. Boost is designed without SL — otherwise averaging loses meaning. If SL is critical, use Futures DCA instead.
Paper mode required
DRAFT. 7 days of paper mode on real HL ticks before the first live launch. Boost cannot skip this without an explicit confirmation step — not a checkbox, a real button.
IMPORTANT (DRAFT)
DRAFT — copy pending founder approval. Boost is for users who have already watched their DCA in paper and understand its drawdown behaviour. Not your first bot. Not 'DCA with more money'. If this page raises questions — start at /bots/dca.
How to launch Boost
Pick a pair
DRAFT. Deep-liquidity HL perps — BTC, ETH, SOL. Low-liquidity alts are unsuitable: price moves faster than the grid reacts.
Boost preset
DRAFT. One click applies Boost defaults. Any field is editable, but the validator enforces max_safety_orders=5 and leverage cap.
Paper period
DRAFT. 7 days on real HL ticks. You see all cycles, decision logs, average TTC (time-to-close), how often Boost reaches the last SO.
Live launch
DRAFT. After 7 days of paper — a confirmation button with a fixed capital ceiling. The bot will not exceed it even if the market looks ideal.
