What is Smart Trading?

Manual trading terminal inside AI Traders — trailing stops, ladder take-profit, OCO, conditional orders. All under the same agent wallet as your automated strategies.

Smart Trading sits inside AI Traders' non-custodial trading platform on Hyperliquid. The funds never leave your wallet; AI Traders holds only a trade-only agent wallet, and every order — automated, manual, or webhook — runs through the same risk-gate. The single-config TP-ladder (one form, multiple TPs with allocations, shared SL) is AI Traders-original — neither Cryptorg nor the HL native UI has this UX; the closest analogues are 3Commas SmartTrade and Bitsgap Smart Trade (both CEX-only). Every TP/SL fill is an on-chain transaction with builder-code, verifiable in HL explorer.

Capabilities

Trailing stop

Configurable trail distance, trigger by price or drawdown. Pause/resume without losing state.

Layered take-profit

Multiple TP levels with size fractions. Close 30% at +2%, 30% at +5%, 40% trail.

OCO orders

One-cancels-other — pair a stop-loss with a take-profit; the first fill cancels the rest.

Conditional orders

"Open long 5% capital when BTC drops below $60K AND ETH/BTC ratio breaks 0.05".

Basket trades

Submit a basket of orders atomically — partial-fill aware, all or none per basket.

Hotkey bindings

Keyboard shortcuts for buy/sell/cancel-all/scale-in. Same shortcuts on spot and perps.

How to start

01

Connect wallet

Privy or self-custodied wallet — same agent flow as automated bots.

02

Pick a market

Search any HL perp; open the order ticket from the screener with one click.

03

Place a smart order

Choose OCO, trailing, or conditional; the form pre-fills risk-gate-safe defaults.

04

Watch the decision log

Each fill writes to the log alongside automated trades. Filter, export, audit.

FAQ

Is Smart Trading meant to replace the Hyperliquid native UI?+
No. HL UI stays the canonical exchange interface. Smart Trading adds order types absent in the native UI — trailing, OCO, ladder TP — inside the same AI Traders agent wallet.
Do manual trades count against my paper-trial allowance?+
Paper trial is shared across all strategies — automated and manual. Both share the same simulated balance and decision-log.
What's the latency between order submission and fill?+
Sub-second on HL — same path as automated bots. Smart Trading uses the same WebSocket connection.
Can I disable the risk-gate for manual trades?+
No — kill-switch and per-strategy caps apply to every order, manual included. This is by design, not a missing feature.
